Tim Weiss from Les Bourgeois Winery of Rocheport, Missouri will join us at this month's tasting and share the recently released Collector's Series. The annual Collector's Series wines allow Les Bourgeois winemakers to become artists by experimenting with small batch fermentations. This Series is made with only the best grapes and is considered the highest quality and most unique wine released this year by Les Bourgeios.

"Picture Perfect." AKMA's Annual Pot o' Gold Fundraising Auction's theme reflects the museum's need for your support to keep the facility and collection first-rate. $50 per person. $100 Patron Level. 6:00 - 9:00 pm. Click here for more information and to see the invitation.

Monday, July 28
Justus Drugstore Dinner. Chef Jonathan Justus of the Justus Drugstore restaurant in Smithville, MO will be preparing a three course dinner for the evening's attendees. Guests will be treated to a signature beverage and tasty tidbits as they begin their evening with Jonathan and his wife Camille in the Mary Boder Theater.  The story of how the restaurant began, Jonathan's experience as a chef and what will be coming up at the restaurant will be shared, as well as a question and answer period before reconvening to the Terrace Dining Room for the yet to be announced dinner presentation. 6:00-9:00 pm.  Cost is $100 per person with $50 per person being tax-deductible. Space is limited to the first 140 reservations.

Breakfast with Santa

Santa’s pancakes are served hot off the griddle with bacon, juice, coffee and a special treat for the children. Two seatings are available, 9:00am or 10:30am. Reservations are required and fill up quickly for this popular event, so call (816)233-7003, ext. 10 by Tuesday, December 2. Cost is $10/person.
Gingerbread House Workshop
1-hour workshops are available at 10:00am and 11:30am. Cost is $8/person. Seating is limited and reservations are required. Call (816)233-7003, ext. 10 by Tuesday, December 2. Please note that children under 6 must be accompanied by an adult.
