St Joseph 2021 Festival: From Steam to S.T.E.A.M.

In conjunction with the Allied Arts Center, the AKMA invites you to a FREE family-friendly festival showcasing St. Joseph’s contributions – past to present – in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics. Festival features will include S.T.E.A.M activities, live music, an innovation zone, history, food and much more. All events will be focused on commemorating Missouri’s bicentennial, creating a unique and fun experience for attendees. This event will be held in Civic Center Park.

The Allied Arts Council and the City of St. Joseph are seeking up to 50 artists to demonstrate and exhibit their art during this celebration of Missouri’s Bicentennial and the areas contributions to the state. If you work in such media as baskets, jewelry, sculptures, wood, leather, painting, needlework, quilting, furniture, glass, pottery and ceramics, or photography, now is your chance to reach an anticipated audience of 8,000-10,000. Applications are available at stjoearts.org/2021 festival. Application deadline is April 20. Notifications will be on or before May 20, 2021.
