June 9 – October 8, 2017 – Deadline for Artwork is May 15

The Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art and the St. Joseph Friends of the Shelter are excited to partner on this exhibition that focuses on a topic that everyone can relate to, animals. The “Beauty of Our Beasts” will be a juried exhibition celebrating our furry, scaled, and feathered friends.  The exhibition celebrates the long tradition of artists looking at humanity’s animal companions for inspiration.
This exhibition will be open to the general public.  Entrants can be any age and are asked to create a masterpiece of their best friend…their pet.  All entries must be the original work of the submitting artist and created within a year of submission. The exhibition will open on June 9, 2017, with the deadline for artwork May 15th.   Click on this link for more information and to download The Beauty of Our Beasts Entry Form.
