The faculty of the Department of art at Northwest Missouri State University is comprised of accomplished teachers, artists, and scholars. Their work crosses media, concepts, and influences and nourishes a community of students and colleagues. AKMA is excited to show new work by this exemplary group of artists. The artists in this exhibition provide a solid foundation in the arts for their students and encourage exploration in new digital media and creative expression.  This exhibition will present the recent work of faculty members who all continue to be active working artists.

Northwest art faculty, in alphabetical order: Michael Faris, Tom LaPann, Armin Mühsam, Miranda Pollock, Michael Ruberto, Marissa Shell, Sarah Sipling, Veronica Watkins.

The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Friday, November 15, 2019,  from 5-7 pm.  There is no charge to attend the Opening.
