September 12 – November 2, 2014
Justin Marable was raised in Robinson, Kansas, a small farm town. This inspired him to draw on geography and history for his work. His contemporary works are primarily silk screens that use bright colors and subjects that are relatable to the Midwestern viewer. His work has been displayed across the Midwest in many galleries and art spaces. He currently resides in Topeka, Kansas with his wife and children.
The public was invited to meet that artist and view his work at the Opening Reception Friday, September 12 from 4-7 pm. There was no charge to attend the event.
