Celebrate the Missouri Bicentennial in 2021 by drawing your very own Missouri bluebird. This common bird was made our state bird because it is a symbol of happiness. Wanda will walk you through the process step by step, layer by layer as you learn her methods in colored pencil.

During this colored pencil workshop, students will experiment with blending colored pencils with various solvents. Bring your regular supplies for colored pencil workshops as Wanda will be providing an assortment of blenders and blending mediums. And, as always, this workshop will also be open to those that want to do their own projects with Wanda to guide them.

With 20+ years of experience in colored pencil, Wanda will teach techniques in drawing and colored pencil. Beginners to Advanced students are encouraged to sign up for this color mixing class. Basic drawing tips include composition, use of complementary color, creating texture on the page, blending, and personal style.
