Get into the spirit of Halloween and learn how to blend colored pencil with artist, Wanda Taylor. This class will be drawing on black paper to create drama with strong contrast and learn how less information naturally creates drama. Choose to draw a spooky Jack-o’-Lantern or Black Cat.
During this colored pencil workshop, students will experiment with blending colored pencils on black paper. And, as always, this workshop will also be open to those that want to do their own projects with Wanda to guide them.
With 20+ years of experience in colored pencil, Wanda will teach techniques in drawing and colored pencil. Beginners to Advanced students are encouraged to sign up for this color mixing class. Basic drawing tips include composition, use of complementary color, creating texture on the page, blending, and personal style.
All skill levels welcome.
For the safety of staff and visitors the museum is requiring everyone to wear a face mask at all times when inside the museum. Class sizes are limited due to social distancing rules. Wanda’s last class filled to capacity, so sign up now!
