Colored Pencil Glass Ornaments with Wanda Taylor

You are here: Home » News » Colored Pencil Glass Ornaments with Wanda Taylor

Wanda will walk you through the process step by step, layer by layer, as you learn her methods in colored pencil. This class will be focusing on blending techniques using solvents to create the shining effect of a glass ornament. And, as always, this workshop will also be open to those that want to do their own projects with Wanda to guide them. All skill levels welcome.

With 20+ years of experience in colored pencil, Wanda will teach techniques in drawing and blending colored pencil. Basic drawing tips include composition, use of complementary color, creating texture on the page, blending, and personal style.

In-person class sizes are limited due to social distancing rules. For the safety of staff and visitors the museum is requiring everyone to wear a face mask at all times when inside the museum. If you would like to join us via Zoom from the comfort of your home, we now offer this option. You will receive an email with a supply list, and reference and process pictures to print at your convenience. Login will begin at 10:00 am, but class will break while in-person students eat lunch from noon-1pm, when the Zoom call will resume. I will integrate you into the class as much as possible and you will have front row seats for demonstrations!
