Patrons will begin the evening by being transported to France with cuisine prepared by Chef Jason that starts with an entrée of coq au vin and ends with a dessert of crème brulee, all accompanied by a French Wine Tasting.
Following dinner, AKMA Director Brett Knappe will help guests prepare for the movie with a short discussion of the time period, place and artistic details.
~ FREE MOVIE – “MOULIN ROUGE” – 7:30 pm
Join us as we celebrate a story about love. Set in the Montmarte district in turn of the century Paris, this movie tells the story of a young English poet that falls in love with a cabaret actress the night they meet. This love story highlights familiar themes of greed, jealousy and love while enchanting the viewer through its majestic musical and costumes sensation.
