Tired of the heat?

Enjoy the salad days of summer with the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art and join us for a creative competition promoting healthy eating and art appreciation in the community. This contest is open to everyone and all you have to do is make your tasty treat and send in a high-quality picture of your creation, remember presentation is key to this competition!

Teams are encouraged to participate in creating a fresh fruit and/ or vegetable display of artistic sculpture on a salad tray. It can be a portrait, landscape, abstract, happy accident, or any other form of art so long as it is made of edible produce!

A donation of $5 or more per entry is appreciated to fund care for our garden and potted plants that make our museum beautiful. In addition to supporting our garden through this FUNdraiser we are always looking for volunteers to help us maintain our garden. Contact the museum for more information.

The winner of this contest will have the photo of their creation displayed in the AKMA Café and be featured in our newsletter during the month of September. Entries are accepted at the front desk or via email at through Friday, August 17, 2018.
