Making Art with Miss Bee

“One of the main things we do here is that we use the collection as part of our inspiration…we have genuine art pieces that the children can look at and interact with. We focus on building a portfolio of work for the kids [and] when they put it all together, they have a nice portfolio of all sorts of work that they can then take home and share with their families.
My mother kept my artwork and has kept it for many years. They’re creating family artifacts that they will hopefully have really good memories of spending time being artistic with us here at the museum. “
