WANDA TAYLOR BASIC DRAWING CLASS

This Basic Drawing class is for all levels of drawing.  Led by Wanda Taylor, the 6-week class will teach students how to draw from still lifes and more.
Students will learn to draw what they see through technical observation.  Starting with different pencil strokes, they will learn value and shading to create 3-dimensions.  CLICK HERE


KIDS MEDIA MIX-UP

Put your imagination to work by using different mediums to create unique artwork.  With a new project each week, students will construct, paint, and assemble projects ranging from sculptures, paintings, prints, and mixed media pieces.  A six-week session that is a perfect after school class for children ages 6-10. ARTS & CARAFES ~ A FUN EVENING OF PAINT & WINE

If you have always wanted to try your hand at art, but didn’t think you had the ability…..this is for YOU!!!  Mark your calendars for Arts & Carafes throughout the year (4th Thursday of the month) and then watch the website for the projects that are planned for each month.
On May 25th Dorothy Tietz will lead the group of artists through another masterpiece.

“MIND YOUR MANNERS” KIDS ETIQUETTE CLASS

This fun and engaging 4-week etiquette class will empower your child to develop strong social skills. Vicki Sindelar will lead this weekly class that will include: table manners, first impressions, introductions, conversation skills, showing respect, being a good host/guest, thank you notes and more.  The last class will include a four-course dinner!  CLICK HERE


“OUT OF THIS WORLD” KIDS SUMMER ART CAMP

Children of all ages will have the opportunity to be part of Summer Art Camp the week of June 27-30 (Tues-Fri) at the Albrecht-Kemper Museum of Art.  In line with the Total Solar Eclipse this Summer, students will take their artwork “to infinity and beyond”!  CLICK HERE


SOLAR ECLIPSE EVE BRUNCH

The public is welcome to enjoy a “heavenly” brunch at the AKMA Cafe prepared by Chef Jason Thomas on Sunday, August 20th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.  Bloody Mary’s, Mimosas, and other special Cosmic Concoctions will be served.  Cost is $25/person or $40/couple and Reservations are suggested.  CLICK HERE
