COLORED PENCIL HAPPY HOUR WITH WANDA TAYLOR – TUESDAY EVENINGS IN JUNE
An adult coloring class? Yes, please! Wind down after work by learning something new. Join us Tuesday nights in June to relax, unwind, have a drink, and experiment with colored pencil drawing. From 5:30 to 7:30 pm, award-winning artist Wanda Taylor will walk you through the process step by step, layer by layer, as you learn her methods in colored pencil. Sign up HERE.
THREE-DAY OIL PAINTING WORKSHOP WITH DONNA BLAND ON JUNE 23-25, 2021
Join artist and instructor, Donna Bland, for an unforgettable and informative art adventure in value study, color mixing, and design while creating a beautiful painting. BEGIN YOUR JOURNEY: A SKETCHBOOK WORKSHOP ON JULY 1, 6, 8, 13, 2021
We all know that half of the battle of making art is just getting started. Join us for a workshop focusing on improving your sketching skills in a summer evening environment. Learn techniques in close observation, planning and mapping out projects, working with new media, and setting yourself up for future success. PAINTING THE HEARTLAND WORKSHOP WITH LARRY DEGRAFF ON JULY 29-30, 2021
In this two-day workshop we will focus on painting the subtle but profoundly moving Midwest landscape. This class will include live demos, discussions, and one-on-one instruction. Larry teaches in oil, but all mediums are welcome. Find out more HERE.
BEE CREATIVE @ AKMA: PUPPET-MAKING WORKSHOP ON JULY 21-23, 2021
If you had fun at Bee Creative last year, then you’re in for a honey of a treat! Miss Bee is back and this time we’re making puppets. This workshop is best for kids ages 7-12. We’ll end this three-day session with a puppet show with all of our creations. Find out more HERE.
