COLOR, SHAPE, PATTERN: SUMMER CAMP ART KITS

Starting June 16 we have Summer Camp Kits for students to take home! While we’ll miss having you here, we still want to bring our activities to you. Reserve a kit HERE.


BEE CREATIVE: FRIDA KAHLO INSPIRED PORTRAITS

Students will get the opportunity to create a mixed media portrait inspired by Frida Kahlo’s art and techniques. When students come to class they’ll have their photo taken, then print a black and white version to use in their collage. Reserve your spot HERE.


BEE CREATIVE: FIBER FIESTA COLLAGES

Join us for another workshop with Bee Creative! Students will create a fiber collage on canvas in this class, with a focus on our quilt exhibition.

FABRIC STASH JEWELRY WORKSHOP WITH LORI TRIPLETT

Create jewelry from your own fabric stash using the durable Kraft-Tex. Learn a variety of techniques to make jewelry for your lifestyle and taste. Techniques demonstrated include applique, paper piecing, quilting, and more. SIGN UP.


PORTRAIT DRAWING WORKSHOP WITH CODY WHEELOCK

In this exciting workshop, students will tackle the elusive subject of portrait drawing with artist, Cody Wheelock. Cody will cover the fundamentals of portraiture in charcoal, discussing how to get accurate proportions, attain a proper likeness, achieve volumetric structure, value rendering techniques, how to animate the drawing with a sense of life, and more. WEST AFRICAN INDIGO RESIST AND DYE WORKSHOP WITH LORI TRIPLETT

Learn four different indigo resist dyeing techniques: wrap, bean wrap, stitch, and hand-painted resist. Participants will each receive a kit that allows them to leave with one yard of fabric dyed and ready for your next quilt. Learn more HERE.


PAINTING THE HEARTLAND WITH LARRY DEGRAFF

OIL PAINTING WITH DONNA BLAND

MISSOURI BLUEBIRD COLORED PENCIL WORKSHOP WITH WANDA TAYLOR
