The AKMA Cafe is the perfect spot for an anniversary or birthday lunch, a small business meeting, or just a quick bite in a unique setting. The museum is also a wonderful place for entertaining out of town guests or clients. Please contact the museum if your group would like to request special dining and seating arrangements.
We offer ample parking, prompt and courteous service, as well as an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. The menu changes weekly, reservations are suggested, and carryout is available.
We are excited to welcome Chef Jason Thomas to the AKMA Cafe with an outstanding menu that is guaranteed to please your palate! Remember, We are now serving every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The Museum is open for lunch from 11:00am -1:30pm. Following is the menu for February 21, 22 and 23, 2017. Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage you to reserve a spot before you come.
Chef’s Soup of the Day – Homemade Daily – $5.00 Bowl or $3.00 cup
Spicy chicken soup with tomatoes, onions, and corn topped with cheddar cheese, sour cream, and tortilla strips.
Quiche – Served with your choice of soup or salad in a Pick 2
The server will have the details on the homemade cheese and egg-based combination baked into a flaky crust.
Wedge Salad – $9.50
Crisp iceberg lettuce, blue cheese vinaigrette, bacon, tomatoes, candied pecans, and bacon drizzle.
Warm Bacon Spinach Salad – $9.50
Fresh spinach, crisp bacon, and red onion are tossed in a warm bacon dressing topped with grilled chicken and a hard-boiled egg.
Cobb Salad – $9.50
Lettuce mix tossed in vinaigrette topped with roasted chicken breast, tomato, bacon, egg, avocado, and blue cheese crumbles.
Lunch Combo – Pick 2 – $9.50
Your choice of soup, salad, 1/2 sandwich, or quiche.
Guacamole Pepperjack Burger – $10.00
Grilled burger, pepperjack cheese and fresh guacamole on a toasted bun. Served with handcut fries.
BBQ Chicken Flatbread Sandwich – $11.00
BBQ chicken, fresh mozzarella cheese, diced onions, and BBQ sauce on baked flatbread. Served with your choice of side.
Caramel Apple Pork Loin – $10.00
Grilled port tenderloin with sauteed apples and salted caramel sauce. Served with candied sweet potatoes and garlic spinach.
Beef Tenderloin Tips – $12.50
Beef tenderloin tips, mushrooms, onions and rich gravy are served over mashed potatoes. Served with garlic bread on the side.
Dessert – $4.50 – Ask your server about our delicious dessert options.
