The Terrace Dining Room


The AKMA Cafe is the perfect spot for an anniversary or birthday lunch, a small business meeting, or just a quick bite in a unique setting. The museum is also a wonderful place for entertaining out of town guests or clients. Please contact the museum if your group would like to request special dining and seating arrangements.

We offer ample parking, prompt and courteous service, as well as an inviting and relaxing atmosphere. The menu changes weekly, reservations are suggested, and carryout is available.

We are excited to welcome Chef Jason Thomas to the AKMA Cafe with an outstanding menu that is guaranteed to please your palate! Remember, We are now serving every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The Museum is open for lunch from 11:00am -1:30pm.  Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage you to reserve a spot before you come. Below is our current menu.


Lunch Combo – Pick 2 – $10.00

Your choice of soup, salad, 1/2 sandwich, or quiche.


Soup of the Day – French Onion Soup- $3/Cup or $5/Bowl 2


Quiche – Served with your choice of soup or salad in a Pick 2

The server will have the details on the homemade cheese and egg-based  combination baked into a flaky crust.


Wedge Salad – $10.50

Local lettuce blend, BBQ chicken,corn, black beans, tomatoes, cucumber, and bell peppers, tossed in an herb ranch and topped with crispy tortilla strips.


Farm House Salad – $10.50

Crisp iceberg lettuce, blue cheese vinaigrette, bacon, tomatoes, candied pecans, & balsamic drizzle.


Chicken, Beet & Berry Salad – $10.50

Mix of local lettuce, roasted beets, fresh berries, and toasted almonds, topped with grilled chicken tossed in a berry balsamic vinaigrette.


Fried Caprese Salad – $10.50

Breaded and fried mozzarella, local tomatoes, fresh basil, and a balsamic reduction.


Club Wrap – $10.50

Lettuce, tomato, turkey, ham, bacon, and an herb mayo layered
and wrapped in a tortilla.


Cuban Flatbread Sandwich – $10.50

Garlic brown sugar pork, Swiss cheese, pickles, and dijonaisse all on grilled flatbread.


Pasta Primavera – $10.50

Grilled chicken, squash, zucchini, tomatoes, and green beans all tossed in a
creamy tomato sauce served with garlic bread.


Ultimate BLT Sandwich – $10.50

Candied fresh bacon, fresh tomatoes, and lettuce with roasted garlic mayo.


Dessert – $4.50 – Ask your server about our delicious dessert options.
