Event Details

Create a unique art doll from scratch using wire, clay, batting, fiber and fabric. Marylin is a fiber artist who has taught art classes across the nation. This one-of-a-kind doll will be a personal keepsake that can be displayed year round.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Wed. March 20
10am-5pm
$100 (includes lunch)

Supply List 

  • 2 oz. package of “Skulpey Premo” polymer clay (color of your choice for face, hands, and feet) 
  • 2- fat quarters of Cotton fabrics for doll clothing (color and pattern of your choice) 
  • Fabric Scissors 
  • Tacky glue or Permanent Fabric Glue 

Optional (available in classroom, but may not match your aesthetic) 

  • Polymer clay tools 
  • Various ephemera such as buttons, trim, beads, charms, jewelry and other found objects to be used to decorate the doll 

  • ½ yd 1 ½ or 2 inch ribbon  
  • Spools 1/8 and 1/4 inch ribbon  
  • ½ yd cotton fabric for body wrap 
  • ¼ yd sheer fabric or tuile
