Come to class ready to collage! Students will create two assemblages (works of art made by grouping items) over the course of the day.

Sharon will provide a small shadow box and a tiny double sided tin in which students will compose and “assemble” their works of art. Up to ten other embellishments will be provided with the course. Additional embellishments will also be made available at a nominal fee.  All other supplies (paper, glue, paper cutter etc.) will also be provided. Attendees are also urged to bring along a copy of a historical photo or any other small keepsakes with which they can personalize their artwork.

Sharon has been creating artisan works for over thirty years in many difference mediums . Her work has been published in many magazines and most recently in Somerset Art Studio and GreenCraft . Her pieces include home decor, clothing, textiles and jewelry. Ten years ago, she attended an art show which included mixed media assemblages and became intrigued by the stories that each piece tells and began making her own. Her work is available at several retail locations, regional shows as well as her Etsy shop ReDesigns_By_Lee.
