Calling all treasure hunters: the AKMA is bringing back its annual Estate & Collectibles Sale! Find antiques, vintage goods, artwork, furniture, appliances, and more while directly supporting the museum’s education programs, collections care fund, and operational budget. Hosted by Randy Klein of “Pen & Pencil Antiques” in St. Joseph, find an incredible treasure for a bargain.

On-site parking in the museum parking lot.

Overflow parking is available across Frederick Avenue on Crestview Drive. Please use caution when crossing Frederick Ave.

Ready for some spring cleaning? As you are clearing out the old, let the AKMA help! Join Randy Klein of “Pen & Pencil Antiques” for the annual AKMA Estate & Collectibles Sale to find a good home for family heirlooms or treasures that you are ready to part with. All proceeds of sales will go directly to the museum’s education programs, collections care fund, and operational budget.

Accepted items: antiques, furniture, working appliances (see note), high-quality vintage items (jewelry/clothing), kitchen items, artwork, and more. Note: due to limited space, no televisions, exercise equipment, or clothing (unless it is vintage).

How to donate

• Item drop off will take place on Tuesday, March 22 from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at the Carriage House (garage on the East side of the museum). Staff and volunteers will be on hand to collect your items and write up donation receipts.
• If you would prefer your items are picked up, please give us a call at (816) 233-7003. Pick up will occur in St. Joseph city limits.
