The sun is shining, the sky is bright blue – a great excuse for a class on color! Join Cody Wheelock for a two-day workshop to explore the benefits of using a limited palette.

Participants will spend the first day in the studio discussing color theory and how to mix every color from just six tubes of paint. Next, the class will do exercises around the topics of hue, value, and chroma as well as discuss the benefits of creating small color studies. Day two will be outside (weather permitting) and practice using limited palette to create plein air color studies from life.

By the end of the class you will have a better understanding of color theory and how you can use a limited palette to your advantage.
