Sharpen your painting skills – and use some of those personal days you’ve been accumulating and treat yourself to a staycation! This three-day workshop is perfect for beginners and intermediate painters who are interested in learning new techniques to progress their painting practice.
Join artist and instructor, Donna Bland, for an unforgettable and informative art adventure in value study, color mixing, and design while creating a beautiful painting. Donna’s follow-along technique in teaching takes each student from a sketch to a finished painting each day.
Lunch is included every day. A cash bar is available. Students will bring their own supplies.

Supply List for Portrait Workshop: (oil or acrylic paint can be used)
- Canvas:Â 12 x 16 (at least 3)
- Brushes: Flats 2, 4, 6, 8; Filberts 2, 4, 6, 8; Rounds: 1, 2, 4, 6; Rigger
- Gamsol (odorless turpenoid medium) for oil paint only
- Paper towels
- Easel (table easels available at the museum)
- Pallet: Freezer Paper or you choice of wooden or plastic

- Alizarin Crimson Permanent
- Cadmium Red Light
- Cadmium Yellow Light
