Enjoy the museum the best way possible – as a member!

The AKMA isn’t just a place to look at master artworks from the past–it’s a vibrant community of people who recognize the importance of a community-centered arts organization in our lives. AKMA members are teachers, students, parents, business owners, artists, non-artists, entrepreneurs, employees, builders, adventurers, and –most importantly–supporters of our mission to educate the public, provide access to unique and meaningful experiences, and nurture emerging artists.

“Probably being a member of the Albrecht-Kemper was the smartest thing I’ve ever done…it opens doors to meet other people in the art industry. I like to support the museum.”

Lana Cease, local artist and AKMA member, in an article in the Maryville Daily Forum

“We’ve always been big fans [of the AKMA]…we’re so appreciative and so proud of the Albrecht-Kemper. We’ve lived in New York; we go to museums around the world and we’re so proud of what little St. Joe has in the Albrecht-Kemper. It’s really a fantastic gallery.”

Jim Lawrence, artist and AKMA member from Kansas City
