Wild and Funky Fiber Art (WAFFA) Bird
Come spend time with Marylin creating a unique WAFFA Bird. Marylin is a fiber artist who has taught at several art retreats across the country, International Quilt and Italy. Her work has been featured in various magazines, such as; Cloth Paper Scissors, Quilting Arts, Haute Handbags and Fiber Arts, as well as books including 1000 Artisan Textiles and Collaborative Art Journals.
This class focuses on creating a felted bird by creating a wire armature for the roving wool so the bird will stand freely. Once the bird is felted it will be decorated with sisal rope, artificial flowers, yarn and wool felt. This is a beginner class so no previous felting experience is required.
