We’re taking the pastel class on a field trip! Jill will demonstrate how to paint in pastels en plein air and students will have a chance to try it with her instruction. This class will have exercises to emphasize the use of the pastels and techniques and is great for both beginners and those that would like more guidance in their current pastel painting process.
Those wanting to caravan to the Nursery will meet at the AKMA at 9:00am. We plan to arrive by 10:00am. The farm is a 40 minute drive, so ask your friends to carpool.
We will be outdoors in uncertain weather all day, so plan accordingly to traipse around a giant garden! Suggested supplies: mud boots, umbrella, sunscreen, insect repellant, water bottles, snacks, etc.
